Meet our Pastor:
Pastor Logan Merrick has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. Originally from Florida, he has ministered in churches across Arkansas, Florida, Missouri, and Nebraska, where he and his family have made their home for the last nine years.
In 2015, Logan and his family moved to Lincoln, Nebraska, where he planted a church focused on reaching and discipling college students. Then in March of 2025, God led the Merricks to O’Neill, where Logan now serves as the pastor of Christ Our Cornerstone Church.
In addition to his pastoral work, Logan serves as a chaplain in the Nebraska National Guard, providing spiritual care and support to soldiers and their families. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry and a Master of Divinity in Apologetics from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Outside of ministry, Logan is a big fan of Nebraska football, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Tampa Bay Rays. He’s been married to his wife, Traci, for 20 years, and together they have four wonderful kids — Noah, Ariah, Eli, and Micah.
Above all, Pastor Logan is passionate about helping people know and love Jesus, grow in God’s Word, and live out their faith in everyday life.
